Ethics in Education
So...a 2nd grade Deaf student just cussed his teacher out in front of the class. A high school history teacher wants to talk to you about the Deaf student in front of her but does not want you to interpret what is being said. A college professor asks you to run copies of the lecture right before class because she is answering homework questions. WHAT DO YOU DO??!! We will take an in-depth look at the Code of Professional Conduct as well as laws where they apply to discuss possible courses of action in educational scenarios.
Making Story Time Fun!
Do you dread story time? Would you like to learn some tips for making story time educational and fun? Then this workshop is for you. We will look at a few children’s stories ranging through elementary school ages and discuss ways of bringing these to life. These tips also have carryover in other educational settings.

In this workshop we will look at methods of skills improvement and will put this into practice in groups.
